Friday 21st November: The Mount Rainbow Team had a sale for Micro Tyco today - they sold Christmas cards and tags that they had made.
Monday 17th November: P4/5/6/7 went to Clickimin for Small Schools' Sports Day. They were divided into different Commonwealth teams and competed against each other for points. They took part in bowls, cricket, rugby and dance mat. Team Australia got the most points and were declared the winners.
Saturday 15th November: This evening the Parent Council organised a Fish and Chip night to raise funds for the school and for the Edinburgh trip. We haven't done the final sums yet but we think we raised over £900! Thank you very much to everyone who supported us in any way!
Friday 14th November: Today was Children in Need Day. Everyone wore their pyjamas and raised over £80.
Mount Rainbow and Selling - Sensation both had to write reports for Micro Tyco today to say what they have done this week towards making money.
Tuesday 11th November:This afternoon Joy came in to do our second drumming workshop. Some parents came to join in towards the end. The workshops were funded by YMI.
Friday 7th November: This morning one of our Micro Tyco teams - Selling-Sensation - sold sweets which they had made. Both teams had to write a weekly report to Micro Tyco to say what they had done this week.
Wednesday 5th November: This afternoon Andy Ross came to do the final rehearsal for our Pirate Production; at the end of the afternoon we invited parents and grandparents to come and watch. You can see a video of the performance on the children's blog.
Tuesday 4th November: Joy Duncan came in to do the first of 2 drumming workshops with us. She taught us about the drums and then we learned some different rhythms and a dance.
