Friday 30th November: Today was the last day of Micro Tyco. We sold all of our sweets very quickly even though we had made lots and some of our Mums made some too! The 2 teams made nearly £200 between them this week - a big thank you again to everyone who helped and supported us.
Thursday 29th November: Today we made sweets to sell at the Micro Tyco sweetie sale. the 2 teams have decided to work together for this week's sale.
Friday 23rd November: Today our 2 Micro Tyco Teams held a Christmas Fair. Super Sellers sold Christmas cards and tags and made over £30; Space Mountain sold candles, bath salts, lip balms, chocolate lollies and Christmas decorations and made nearly £50. Thank you to everyone who supported us again this week. We were so busy that we didn't take many photos - these were after school with our last customers!
Wednesday 21st November: Today we went to Lerwick to go the Shetland Museum and Gadderie. In the morning we had a workshop about the Vikings led by Trevor one of the museum staff. After lunch we had a look at the Ancient Egyptian cat statue before it goes home to the British Museum and then spent the rest of the afternoon in The Gadderie looking at the Shetland Schools' Art Exhibition.

Tuesday 20th November: Last month we entered a competition organised by the "Twig on Glow" team; we had heard that we had won a prize and today it arrived! We have won a new visualiser which will be very useful for sharing interesting things on the iwb.
Friday 16th November: Today the Micro Tyco teams held their first big event. The Super Sellers sold cakes and made £65.50 and Space Mountain sold Christmas cards and ran a raffle and made £127.50. Both teams would like to thank everyone who gave them donations and to thank their customers! They are holding a Christmas sale next week and would love you to come along!
Space Mountain were so busy that by the time we took the picture they were almost sold out!
Thursday 15th November: The Micro Tyco Super Sellers Team worked very hard this morning baking cakes ready for the Sale tomorrow. They asked P1 and P2 to bake a batch too!
Wednesday 14th November: This morning P1 were busy painting at the start of making a model of a Viking longhouse.
Tuesday 13th November: Both Micro Tyco teams were busy making Christmas cards to sell to raise money.
Friday 9th November: Everyone has been working very hard this week on Micro Tyco activities. The Super Sellers team have written this to explain what the teams are doing.
Burravoe Primary School has entered a competition called Micro – Tyco; we have been put into two different teams, Super Sellers and Space Mountain. Micro – Tyco has given us £1 to start us off a business to raise money. Micro- Tyco is about raising money to loan money to people around the world to start their own businesses and get money for their families. The competition lasts for 4 weeks and we will be raising money by different activities. We are going to do a Bake Sale and Christmas Cards. The bake sale will be on the 16th of November there will also be a raffle as well as the Christmas card sale.
All the money raised goes to Wild Hearts which is the charity behind Micro- Tyco.
Charlotte, Melissa, Kerry and Bradley are the Super Sellers team.
