After piece, Andy and Amy came to sing with us. We had good fun doing all the warm up exercises and then we learned some new songs. Andy took some pictures so we will put them up when he sends them to us.
This was funded by YMI through the Scottish Arts Council.

Mary Leask and Anona Hughson came for lunch and to talk about the waste audit that they had done for the school. We could still save some resources but they were very pleased with us and said we had tried hard to be careful with our resources and be good reusers and recyclers. They were very pleased about how little food waste we produce and said we have the lowest amount of food waste of any school in Shetland. Thank you Elsie for giving us such good dinners!
Monday 26th November: Today we planted up our pots and hanging basket with pansies and violas. We did it inside as there was snow on the ground.
Thursday 22nd November: Today, in Art, we painted pictures inspired by Martin's talk about Greenland and then wrote poems about them.
Wednesday 21st November: Today Martin Rickard came; he showed us a video and talked to us about his trips to Greenland.
Tuesday 20th November: Today Maria Leask came to teach us some more Shetland Dances.
Monday 19th November: Today Maria Millar came to teach us some dialect songs. It was funded by Youth Music Initiative through the Scottish Arts Council.
