Friday 28th March: Today is the last day of term. Elsie made us pavlova for lunch to celebrate! In after school club; Ross made the new lego robot work and Feionne finished her felt bag.
Thursday 27th March: Today Miss Morrison came to visit for the day; she is going to work with us for the first 4 weeks of next term. We went to Mid Yell Leisure Centre this morning to see the Shetland Youth Band - they were excellent and we had a great time!
Wednesday 26th March: Radio Burravoe has gone live to the world today - please have a listen! There was still snow around today; it looked beautiful in the morning with the sun shining and, after school, some of us built a snow home.
Tuesday 25th March: Today we had even more snow so all the Shetland Schools were closed. It was great snow for sledging and snowman building!
Monday 24th March: Today we had snow and not everyone could get to school.
Wednesday 19th March: Today we went to Mid Yell Leisure Centre to see Martha performed by the Catherine Wheels Theatre Company.
Friday 14th March: Today we had the last of our old flooring taken up. They will put down our new non slip flooring over the weekend.
Wednesday 12th March: Andy Ross came today; we are composing our own space music.
Monday 10th March: Today we went over to the Kirk to see the Bishop. He showed us all the robes he wears and told us what they were called and what they represent.
Our new bricks arrived; we immediately tried to make something as tall as we could. Elouise made a model Taj Mahal.
Wednesday 5th March:Today Andrew Jeffrey came to do Magic Maths with us. Click on the link and you can read about him and read his blog about his days on Yell. We had a great time and learned lots about maths as well as being completely mystified by the magic. Ask Kay about the sponge trick!
