Monday 25th June: This evening was our end of term concert; every one worked very hard and did a great show!

Wednesday 13th June: Today P3, P4, P5 and P7 went to Sullom Voe. We saw the Fire station and watched the firement put out some fires; the control room and the pollution centre where they were shown all the different ways there are of stopping a disaster if an oil leak occurs. We had a delicious lunch in the dining room as well! Thank you to Steven Brown for organising it for us.
Tuesday 12th June: Today Kay and Brydon went to Shetland Sports in Lerwick to represent Yell.
Saturday 9th June: Today was Burravoe Carnival; lots of children went on A Trowie float!
Monday 4th June: At our last pupil meeting someone asked if we could cook our own school dinner and everyone thought this was a great idea! We chose today to do it. Last week everyone worked in groups to decide what the menu should be and work out the ingredients and the tasks that would need to be done. We chose mini pizzas and salad with apple winged butterfly cakes and fruit dipped in chocolate for pudding. Everyone worked really hard and produced a great meal. We are very grateful to Elsie as she did most of the washing up!
