Wednesday 31st August: This afternoon P4 and up went to see Kirsty and Da Snarravoe Njuggle, a performance in Shetland dialect; it was a mixture of puppetry; acting and film.

Monday 29th August: Today we went to see the Bionic Ear workshop run by Deaf Research UK. We learned about how the ear works and how to look after our hearing. Everyone agreed not to put cotton buds in our ears or turn up our music players to more than half the volume!

Friday 26th August: Today was our first after school club of the year; we painted some of the outdoor furniture; everyone had decided they wanted it to be a bright red!

Wednesday 24th August: Today we went for a trip to the Mainland; in the morning we went to Bonhoga Gallery to see the Illustrators Exhibition curated by Julia Donaldson.

We had a picnic in Aith and then went for a walk along the Burn of Lunklet; it poured with rain so we were glad we had our waterproofs and wellies!

Friday 19th August: This morning we had the first pre-school group of the new session; lots of people came! This afternoon we spent time in the garden seeing how our cereals and tatties were getting on and doing some weeding. we harvested our first crops as well - some lettuces!

Thursday 18th August: This morning we had a look at all the things that arrived with Trev, our visiting Kiwi. He arrived during the holidays from Soingtula in British Colombia, Canada but his home is with the Superscoopers in Dunedin, NZ. He has been travelling for a while having a great time with classes whereever he goes!

Wednesday 17th August: Today we started back for the new session. Ms Anderson started today as well; we are really pleased that she is going to be teaching here every Wednesday. This morning we all wrote postcards to Kilmartin Primary School in Argyll; we are going to be collaborating with them this year.
