Tuesday 28th April:This afternoon we went along to Burravoe Hall to get everything ready for tonight; we laid out all our games; put our pictures on the walls and set up the television so people could watch our 10 Pieces videos. Thank you very much to everyone that came to see the Showcase in the Hall tonight. Thank you for joining in playing so many of the children's games - your feedback is very helpful to them when they are learning about games design. Thank you as well for helping us raise £151 for school funds!
All the work children have done for the 10 Pieces project is here on our project wiki.
Monday 27th April: This afternoon we went along to the Hall to have a practice of our body percussion dance which are are performing on Tuesday.
Wednesday 22nd April: Today the children had a competition to see how many worms each group could find to put in our new wormery; they found 56 in 20 minutes! They put 46 back and kept the rest to watch indoors.
Tuesday 21st April: Today P7 went for their first transition day. They travelled up to Cullivoe to meet the other P7s from Yell. They are now in 2 groups and will be working together to research some Edinburgh Landmarks. They will be working collaboratively online until they meet again in 2 weeks time.
Friday 17th April: This morning the children held a pupil meeting. They manage the meeting themselves; we are very proud that as well as highlighting any problems they usually come back with the solutions as well!
